Using permanent makeup for Lips or Lip-liner is a great way to enhance your lips. Whether it is a slight increase in size or a great natural color you are looking for... we got you. You can slightly enlarge your lips by applying color to the outer area of your lips and you can create the look of fuller lips by adding liner. If you just need a boost of color to bring back lost pigment due to ageing or other factors, this procedure is for you. Procedure Options-
This procedure lines the outer lips with a thin line. It creates a fuller look of dimension and adds color to the outer area. No color is added into the inner lip area so the look of using a cosmetic lip liner pencil is achieved.
This procedure ads a natural subtle color to the full lip area. Lips are lined and then color blended throughout the lips to give natural color.
3D / Ombre Lips
Multiple colors and shading are added to the lips to create full multi/dimensional lips.
What To Expect:
The treatment consists of 2 parts.
The first is an initial session. This takes approximately 1 1/2 - 2 hours. We will determine your perfect lip shape taking into account your cupid's bow, pout, and fullness. We will pick or mix a custom color pigment based upon your desired results and skin tone. A topical numbing cream is used. The pigment is then placed under the lip tissue. Healing takes 4-6 days. Lips look dark (& possibly swollen) the first day or two. Then they peel...much like chapped lips. Then the color cures in your lips over the next few weeks.
Second is your Enhancement Session. Once you have healed and your pigment is set in we touch up any areas that need a little extra pigment or shape to make your Lips AMAZING! (4-6 weeks later.)
A few notes about Permanent lip color...
#1 - Because of the nature of lip tissue, you only retain about 40-60% of the color. We can use a dark pigment...but after healing...your result will have a hue of that pigment. It will not be as dark as when it is placed in the lips.
#2- All procedures are semi-permanent. Which essentially means that your color could last 1-3 years or 10 years...depending on how your body breaks it down over time.
